I'm André Figueiredo, a Brazilian born in 1972. I work in advertising, and in a few years, I would love to be working with nothing but photography. Until that happens, I'll dedicate most of my free time studying photography and traveling around the world whenever possible. In recent years, I've participated in several photographic expeditions exploring landscapes, ethnic groups, and wildlife. I've been to the Atacama desert, Patagonia, Yukon, Serengeti, Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Etna, Iceland, Norway, Finland, Lençóis Maranhenses, and Fernando de Noronha.
Currently, I'm showcasing my work in some virtual galleries, such as photoarts.com.br, Gurushots, and Youpic. In the latter, I've been recognized as the best South American, with 230 internationally awarded photos. In that gallery, I have more than 6 million views and over 20,000 followers. My work has also been featured in specialized magazines, and I've had a few interviews about my work. In 2012, 80 of my best photographs were exhibited to the public at a major shopping mall in São Paulo, Brazil. I named it "Inspirations." I'm currently planning my next exhibition and my first photographic book. My nickname in the photography world is ANDRE11, paying tribute to the aperture number I typically use when shooting landscapes. My work is available for purchase. My biggest inspiration is the master Ansel Adams, and my main influences come from Marc Adamus and Sebastião Salgado. #photographerforservice #photosforsale #buymyart.
