John Duncan Ford

Studied English, History, Political Science at University of the Witwatersrand, then Photography at The Polytechnic in London from 1967 to 1971, which included a year working at Sturlason a/s Polyfoto in Oslo, Norway. Practised as a photographer in Johannesburg till 1978. Joined AGFA as sales representative, then Regional Sales Manager in Johannesburg. Regional Manager in Cape Town 1986 till retirement in 2002.

Qualified with Diploma in Wine 1999. Started and ran Main Ingredient, speciality wine and food retailer 2002-10 with my wife, Lynne. Started MENU, online wine, food, travel journal in 2003, still publishing most weeks. https://adamastorbacchus.blogspot.com/
