Roderik van Nispen

Roderik van Nispen (1974), after having studied economics for a number of years, decided to follow his heart and turned to photography. His thesis for the Amsterdam Photo Academy focused on the activities of the Rotterdam Harbour. The panoramic images exhibit a robust working setting, without frills, characteristic of all his photography. Roderik’s work shows people as they are, performing their various tasks in their own environment. The result: natural, realistic and revealing photographs.
