I live in Amsterdam. Born in 1957.

Started photography, @ the age of nine.

And started in the darkroom, @ the age of twelve ;-)

I travelled by bike, to many places arround the world, and started my interest for traveling.

1975 Interrail ,Switserland, Yugoslavia, Greece.

1976 Norway and Sweden (2200) km.

1977 Great-Britain (2300 km)

1978, I cycled from Amsterdam to Hammerfest to the Nordkapp.

This was a set tour, by mine club, Le Champion, 3700 km.

But....we want to improve this tour, Hans&Hans. By biking through Suomi Finland and Sweden. At the end this inproved tour was 5900 km.

I wrote, an editorial in the ANWB gids , in the autumm of th3at year.

1979, Norway and Sweden (1050 km)....And after climbing the pass Jottenheim, the next day my bike was stolen, a hand made frame of Presto...
