Astrid Helen Sterner

I am living and working in Swedish northern Lappland . I am educated in biology, , science and wildlife and I am an outdoor person on all my spare time. I love kayaking in summertime when no ice on the big lakes and do photography mainly from the kayak . In winter time I am out skiing or on snowshoes, with camera . I use my photgraphies as part in poetry, where pictures and text form a union of its own.

I live by nature, with nature and for beauty, with the deepest respect for our Earth. I feel humble for being alive and able to use my scenses , to create and share of this beauty.

Earlier I ' ve been working and living in Greenland and North Norway as well as Southern parts of Sweden but Swedish Lappland is my home and here I live remote in the countryside.

On summertime I spend some time living on two remote Islands also kayaking with camera, and building up tourism and guiding for people wanting the quietness which is unique for the area where I live. My homepage: www.laplandwildlifekayaking.com
