Phoo Chan

Phoo Chan is a bird photographer whose passion is capturing images of raptors in aerial actions including birds in flight aka BIF. His work has been published in various publications including National Geographic magazine and the latest National Geographic Complete Birds of North America (2nd edition) book cover page. His pictures of a Crow riding on a Bald Eagle in Seabeck, Washington went viral internationally back in July 2015.

The images were sensational enough to put him through an overnight joyride of fame. Although short-lived, his story was covered from NBC News to National Geographic. He also wrote an article behind the event at 500px. Just as the crow enjoyed the short ride, it was indeed a fun ride for him as well.
