I have been taking photos for many years, starting with analogue and later digital. I was in various photo clubs, and was also very successful in the DVF, until I realized that I was paying too much attention to their wishes rather than realizing my own potential.

What was much worse was the fact that I took this ridiculous thing called photography far too seriously. Today, at 64 years old and blessed with some experience, I approach everything much more calmly. >It's no longer about having the greatest pixel monster or the "best" equipment, whatever that means, but rather about finding peace in this hobby.

For several years now I have also been very successful with the photo monster Mamiya RZ 6x7... It's different, very different. Anyone who has ever worked with it will know what I mean. :-)

My photography interests are varied. It goes from landscapes to animals, yes, even those... now and again. But my real passion has always been portrait photography - and later nude photography too
