Edu Vergara is a Brazilian businessman, 58 years old, father of 4 children, publicist, specialized in marketing strategies and brand repositioning, with a higher education in Public Management.
He is a well-known photographer in Brazil and internationally with more than 210 award-winning photographs. He has published 11 photography books, 8 of which as master curator of the Brasília Photo Show and 3 of his own. All in large format. He has a published personal management book focused on entrepreneurial activities (AEAA).
In 1984, he graduated in cinematography from ITA-Instituto de Tecnologia Aplicada.
In 1989, he launched the first three-dimensional characters in Brazil.
In 1991, he created and aired the first 1-minute commercial entirely produced in computer graphics in Brazil.
In 1993, cartoons made with Billy and Bella, and GeoComics won the Animamundi award, the second largest animation festival in the world.
He is currently the director of Brasília Photo Show, one of the four largest photography festivals in the world.
Vergara was president of the Brazilian Institute of Technology and Intelligence - IBIT, for more than 10 years. During this term, he established a solid partnership with Sebrae (a Brazilian public entity that promotes business development in Brazil), creating projects related to the development of tourism in Brazil, as well as sustainability projects to develop the third sector in the economy.
He participated in the implementation of more than 180 public libraries with private resources in the Brazilian Federal District and in states such as Goiás, Bahia, Pernambuco and Ceará. In addition, he developed projects for the construction of specialized hospitals in the northwest region of Brasília, such as the Hospital da Criança, specialized in the treatment of children with cancer.
He was editor of two scientific publications, 42 editions of Saúde em Primeira Página magazine and 5 editions of Verdes Ares magazine. In addition, he was editor of Infraero's tourism magazine.
Eduardo was the marketing director for Brazil's largest fuel retailer (Gasol Combustíveis) from 1993 to 2013. During this period, he was also responsible for creating Texaco's penetration plan in Brazil and the five-star service program (Five Stars), created by him, in Brazilian territory. This program included all the visual identity that would later be exported to the rest of the world.
He has worked in partnerships with Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Petrobrás, Texaco, Ipiranga, McDonald's, Ambev, Policentro Consulprev, Indaiá and Colacril, among others.
Eduardo Vergara has been researching and studying tourism for over 20 years, with the aim of developing innovative alternatives to promote this industry. He accompanies two large projects in Atlanta and Brasília. In both, he conducted the entire creative process.
He has experience in creating active crypto protocols and NFTs, having worked on more than 10 multinational projects in the last 3 years. Within this context he developed the multi-chain model that promotes exchange bridges between blockchains.
