A photo that you share will be displayed and saved on your profile under the Shared tab in Activities. It will also be shared to all your followers and will be displayed in their Home Feed.

The inspiration feed contains today’s fresh photos that received an inspiration star. All photos coming in to YouPic is curated by our human curation team together with the YouPic community members. All members who have reached level 5 can nominate photos that will support our curators. You get 1 star to give away daily to curate and to nominate photos to get them to the inspiration flow. You will get 1 additional star per level up to level 14, for a maximum of 10 give away per day.

The cover photo of the day is chosen by our curators. The main criterion for getting featured is that the photo blends in well as the background on the Cover page (youpic.com). Ideally the photo should have a width of at least 2048 pixels.

In order to edit your photos, go to the drop down menu that is located in the top right corner next to Upload where you will find Organise. Here you can set and edit all the details of your photos.

In order to level up and to be able to give inspiration stars you will have to earn points (XP) that helps you reach higher levels. This can be done in multiple ways, for example you can earn points when you upload a photo (10XP), by receiving a share (8XP), by writing a comment (5XP), receiving a favourite (4XP), share a photo (2XP) or by favourite a photo.

The little blue ring with the level number that can be found at your profile represents your current level. In order to level up you will have to gain experience. This can be done in multiple ways, for example by uploading or sharing a photo.

A verified badge is a check that appears next to an YouPic account’s name in search and on the profile. It means that YouPic has confirmed that this is the authentic account for the public figure, celebrity or global brand it represents. Accounts representing well-known figures and brands are verified because they have a high likelihood of being impersonated. We want to make sure that people in the YouPic community can easily find the authentic people and brands they want to follow.

Your awards can be found under the Bio tag, under achievements. Different awards require you to do different things, for example the Popular Photos-award require you to have 500 shares while the Cover Of The Day-award require you to have had at least 1 photo that has been on the cover of YouPic.

All members that have reached level 5 can nominate photos that will support our human curators in the selection process of which photos that will be featured on the inspirationfeed. A nomination means that one of your photos are nominated to be on the inspiration feed by another user.

If you want to upload photos the optimal image size is 2048px.

Creating a shop is easy, it just takes four clicks. You begin with clicking on the add button at your YouPic-profile page, the choose create a shop. Then you will come to the four step pop up-page, where you fill in the seller info, choose which products you will sell, which photographs that will be in your shop and the pricing. Easy, simple and quick.

If you want to withdraw the money you have earnt on your YouPic-shop you just click on the earnings and then go to the total balance-box where you will find a withdraw-button, making it possible for you to withdraw your earned money from the shop.
